EXECUTIVE BANK OFFICER, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT/MARKETING (14054)

Job Description:

The Executive Bank Officer of Business Development and Marketing is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Bank, developing business strategies and plans.  Developing a high performing managerial team; and ultimately overseeing all operation and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission of the Bank. You will also be responsible for overseeing the marketing and development of business opportunities for the bank.  Networking, prospecting, professionalism, public speaking, social media expertise, etc., is imperative to the job since work is varied in nature with changing priorities.  You will work under guidance of the Board of Directors and President and assures compliance with all bank policies and procedures as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations including the Bank Secrecy Act.

 

Essential Functions

§  Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the bank and overseeing all aspects of management.

§  Responsible for the overall business development and marketing strategies of the bank and carries out responsibilities in accordance with the Bank's policies and applicable laws, ensuring adherence to EEO guidelines

§  Responsible for soliciting, negotiating, underwriting, and coordinating the closing of major and complex consumer, residential, SBA, commercial building, and business loans

§  Manages existing portfolio to maintain profitability, analyzes and structures loan requests to ensure loan profitability

§  Responsible for attaining budget and regulatory goals to accommodate current and future organizational needs.

§  Oversees the development, implementation, and coordination of business and retail marketing strategies based on banks objectives and budget.

§  Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.

§  Research and build relationships with new clients.

§  Plan approaches and pitches; work with team to develop proposals that speaks to client’s needs, concerns and objectives.

§  Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.

§  Attend industry functions, such as association events or conferences approved by the bank’s President, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends; present to and consult with Board of Directors and President on business trends with a view to developing new services and products.

§  Identify opportunities for campaigns and services that would lead to increased sales.

§  Oversees events where the bank is a sponsor or where the bank is involved.

§  Oversees bank’s publicity items, ads, social media campaign. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, or related field (advance degree or certification is preferred).
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience or demonstrated high level of success related to finance, public administration.
  • 8+ years of managerial experience or demonstrated ability to manage diverse team.
  • In-depth knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, and bank policies and procedures.
