Information Systems Support Specialist (1329)

Job Description:

The IS Support Specialist is a second level support role with the primary responsibility of providing the technical support to customers along with operational and administrative support for IS functions in the assigned office(s).  The assigned person will actively participate in maintaining and improving the timeliness and quality of IS support provided to all customer constituencies within the assigned office(s). The specific responsibilities and functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Execute the effective and timely delivery of IS services
• Interact effectively with all customer constituencies
• Maintain the operational availability of all computer-related equipment and IS resources including PCs, printers, laptops, smartphones, servers, data communication equipment, network infrastructure, and audio-visual systems
• Perform operational and administrative procedures as defined in Firmwide and departmental policies and procedure guidelines
• Deploy computer, smartphones and related equipment in a timely fashion to meet the day to day operational requirements
• Perform effectively as a second level technical resource to resolve customer problems
• Provide technical support and assistance outside of normal business hours as required
• Must have strong organizational skills and be able to prioritize work efficiently, multi-tasking is a must
• Maintain and adhere to Firm-wide and departmental policies, standards, operational guidelines, and administrative procedures relating to IS function
• Encourage and promote teamwork between local, regional and Global Services IS resources
• Promote effective utilization of firm provided software applications by internal customer constituencies
• Participate as an active team member on IS projects to which assigned


A four-year degree is preferred.  3+ years of related experience preferably in a law firm environment.  Microsoft professional certificate is also highly desired.

• Experience providing support in a Windows 10 environment
• Knowledge of iOS
• Experience providing support on Microsoft Office products
• Experience providing support of Microsoft Outlook, Exchange, and SCCM
• Experience providing IS support in a Legal or Professional Services environment
• Familiarity with computer hardware, accessories, printers, and communications equipment
• Physically able to move equipment
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal and team skills
